Westport Intl, our retained group, recently filled several searches for clients in HR, Finance, Marketing, and General Management. Our search group’s performance continues to be best in class in the retained search industry. We have several new announcements around the expansion of our search group:
PinPoint Solutions, our contingency group, had a record month in July. The pace of new work coming in is ever-increasing. Most recent activity has been in the Aerospace, Medical Device and Diversified Industrial client areas. Technology and Distribution remain fairly consistent. Most functional jobs are in demand but sales and marketing roles are active and sometimes difficult to fill. Across many of the industries we support, the one universal objective is to top-grade talent and bring in impact players on the commercial side of the business.

PinPoint Talent Services, our recruiting outsourcing group, supports several clients functioning as their internal talent function. Our second quarter cost per hire for clients was $3,400 for professional and mid management roles. This group is on pace to fill between 250 and 300 hard to fill engineering, professional and mid management roles this year.

Westport Intl Announcements:
- Terri Campbell-Brown has joined our Westport Intl search practice. Terri comes to the company after an HR leadership career at Eaton Corp and most recently as the VP of HR at Guardian Building Products. Terri will also be our Director for our HR Practice area.
- Our HR practice area is forming a partnership with Scarlett Surveys, a well-established, leading employee survey and engagement organization.
- In this practice area, we are launching HRexecs.com which will focus on providing drop-in HR leadership and consulting services around Talent, OD, Labor, Compensation, and HR acquisition due diligence.
- Responding to industry changes and in keeping with our client-driven partnership philosophy, we are beginning to unbundle our search services.
