Chemicals/Materials Practice has been a focus practice area since the start of our company more than eight years ago. As is the case with many of our clients, our chemical clients often support a variety of industries. This support of major industries- from building materials to automotive, from medical device to consumer products- is especially beneficial for our organization as we are able to recognize specific end markets when we implement commercial/business development.
Our chemical/materials practice area hasn’t stopped growing particularly because our clients tend to be more diverse in terms of their end markets.
End market performance is always changing. Recently, industrial, capital equipment, and even aerospace seem to be slowing or retracting, while the automotive, packaging, and building materials end markets continue to succeed. Whether you are a chemical/materials organization that makes commodity products or one that produces specially engineered niche products, managing the differing types of businesses you work with becomes key to performance when considering these aforementioned divergences.
